Robert Gebethner

Born in Warsaw in 1950, Robert Gebethner graduated from Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, Faculty of Painting. In 1975 he obtained a diploma in painting at prof. J.Stern's workshop and in wall painting at prof J. Krauppe-Świderska's workshop. In 1976-77 and 1980 he was a scholarship holder of the Ministry of Culture and Art. In 2006, he received the honorary award "Meritorious for Polish Culture". He creates in the fields of painting, drawing and illustration. Robert Gebethner is a co-founder of the "Side of an island" creative group. His works are in private collections in the country and abroad. He took part in many domestic and foreign exhibitions.
