Maria Kiesner

A graduate of the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Diploma, awarded with the J. Szajna Prize, in search of a new form of expression, the artist defended in 2002 under Professor J. Modzelewski. She mainly paints architectural and urban landscapes, focusing mainly on train stations, schools, factories, cultural centers and forgotten relics of socmodernism and modernism. Currently, she works as an assistant professor at the Institute of Artistic Education at the Maria Grzegorzewska Academy of Special Education in Warsaw. She is the author of over 30 individual exhibitions, and has participated in over 40 collective exhibitions.
