Magdalena Laskowska

Painter, photographer. A graduate of the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, where she graduated with honors, with an annex in illustrations from Dr. Zygmunt Januszewski, obtained in the studio of prof. Stanisław Baj. Finalist of many competitions, incl. several times: Festival of Polish Contemporary Painting (Szczecin), Bielska Jesień (Bielsko-Biała), L. Wyczółkowski (Bydgoszcz), Triennial of Small Painting Forms (Toruń), winner of the 1st Prize of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage in the Young Painting Promotion Promotion 2011 (Legnica), winner of the Potok Sztuki Competition (Sopot). Participant of the Warsaw Art Fair and the Art Fairs in New York and Bridgehampton (2019). Works, among others in the collection of the National Museum in Gdańsk, Department of Modern Art, and in the private collection of the President of the Republic of Poland Fed. German Horst Koehler. He cooperates with renowned galleries in Poland and abroad. In 2020, she took the 14th place in the Young Art Compass.
