Andrzej Podkański

A graduate of the State Higher School of Visual Arts in Gdańsk and the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He defended his diploma in the studio of Professor Tadeusz Dominik. Has had over a dozen individual exhibitions, including in Sweden, Warsaw and Elbląg. He has also participated in over thirty collective exhibitions at home and abroad. He is winner of several prizes and scholarships, including the Grand Prix of the Warsaw Festival of Fine Arts 2006. In January 2019 the artist has received a Silver Medal for Merit to Culture - Gloria Artis.
