Carolina Khouri's painting is characterized by energetic colors, contrast and minimalism. Conservation of expression is a means of communication through feelings and emotions based on a visual experience for artist. The large format of her abstract paintings is close to the expression tradition of American abstraction.
Carolina is simultaneously developing disciplines and media such as video, objects and installations. She belongs to artistic groups Page 6 (since 2011) and The Magma Group (since 2013).
Carolina (born 1971 in Lebanon) graduated from Polish Studies at the University of Warsaw and space design at the University of Arts London.
She is also a curator and initiator of artistic projects. She has been living in London since 2004, where in 2012-18 she was the director of Haringey Arts and from 2020 she runs Factory of Wonder. Her studio is located in the post-industrial Harringey Warehouse District.
Carolina has presented her works in collective and individual exhibitions, participated in residencies and international art exchanges.
