HOW TO SELL A PIECE OF ART IN THE '101 PROJECT' CONTEMPORARY ART GALLERY and auction house?

The 101 Project Contemporary Art Gallery and Auction House offers works of modern and contemporary art: paintings and sculptures, via direct sales at the gallery, ul. Piękna 62/64 in Warsaw, via the online store at www.101projekt.pl, as well as via auction sales.

Items for sale can be submitted personally (Warszawa, ul. Piękna 62/64), by phone: (+48) 882 022 604 or (+48) 690 431 336, or via e-mail, by sending a photo (more than 3 MB) and description to aukcja@101projekt.pl.

The decision to accept an item is made by a gallery staff member or an expert working in cooperation with the gallery, who initially evaluate the item. After a positive verification, the gallery staff member determines the date of object delivery to the gallery and issues a Provisional Receipt. The final decision on the acceptance of an item for sale and its valuation will be reported back to the offerer within 14 days.

Items which have been qualified for sale in the gallery or at the auction are accepted on the basis of a consignment agreement, after setting out the selling price or the opening price of the items qualified for auctions, and agreeing on the terms of sale. The consignor declares that he is the only owner of the item, that the object is not subject to the rights of third parties and is not subject to the security of the Tax Office nor is it subject to collection by the court enforcement officer.

In case of acceptance of the item for an auction, the gallery provides a professional presentation in electronic catalogues and stationary in the gallery.
