MAGDALENA KARŁOWICZ

A sculptor, a graduate of the W. Gerson State Secondary School of Art. in Warsaw and the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, Faculty of Fine Arts - Sculpture, graduated with honors in 2004 in the studio of prof. Maciej Szańkowski. The author of several individual and several dozen collective exhibitions. Participant of open air events, festivals, symposiums, auctions and art fairs. She exhibited, among others in the galleries of Częstochowa, Biała Podlaska, Lubaczów, Łódź, Radzymin, Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski, Szczecin, Toruń, Wołomin, Warsaw and Vienna. She deals with sculpture in its broad sense, from intimate forms to monumental objects. She uses a variety of sculptural materials, from clay and bronze, through resins to wax and sand. She is also close to other fields of art, such as drawing and graphics.

JAN BONAWENTURA OSTROWSKI

He was born in Częstochowa, but has been associated with Warsaw all his life. Here he graduated from the sculpture department at the Academy of Fine Arts (diploma with Prof. Tadeusz Łódźana). He also studied painting at the Academia di Belle Arte "Brera" (diploma in the studio of Prof. Giorgio de Giorgia). He practices all fine arts - from painting through graphics to sculpture. Numerous exhibitions at home and abroad: Milan (1973, 1974), Helsinki , Copenhagen (1979), Warsaw (1979), Paris (1975, 1980, 1981), Saint Tropez (1980), Vancouver - collective exhibition (1983), Bonn (1986, 1987, 1988), Warsaw (1991, 1992, 1993 1999, 2000, 2001).
